Clean nice and peacefulMost definitely would recommend to any traveler trying to stay near the center of oaxaca.
My sister and I stayed here for our stay in Oaxaca for 5 days. The owner was lovely, location was good quiet at night but still close enough to everything. Extremely clean and beds were comfortable! Towels were super soft ( not always a luxury when travelling) and had air con!! would recommend staying here. Also the beautiful dog that greets you when you enter and leave is always a good start to the day :)
I highly recommend this place! Very kind and helpful people manage this hotel and friendly dog! The rooms are clean and renovated. I really liked the decor. The beds were very comfortable. I liked everything very much, I think it's the best place to stay in Oaxaca :)
Stayed here for a few nights and it was awesome! Service was great, rooms were clean, and location is perfect. Highly recommend!
Edgar the manager has been restoring the house of his grandfather with beautiful ceramic floor. Until the shared kitchen is ready he also provides cold purified water from his fridge and coffee in the morning if desired. He also invited me for a glass of delicious mezcal, I really appreciated his hospitality. His cute dog Donaji is welcoming all guests and loves to play. The hotel is dogfriendly, too. The small hotel is brandnew and the bathroom and wardrobe are excellent. Strong, hot shower, aircon and TV is provided. By night it's calm, by day some street noise as very central. The hotel is just a few blocks from the zócalo and from the markets. It's very safe to walk by night as well. Edgar also helped to arrange an airport taxi and recommended cafés, bars and restaurants. Edgar is a lovely host.
Really nice little place to stay! Looks unassuming from the outside but the rooms are new (as of Nov 2024), clean, and comfy. The owners and manager are super friendly and helpful. Strong recommendation if you are looking for simple but nice accommodation in Oaxaca!
We stayed here for 6 nights in February 2025. The staff and Manager are helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious and were recently renovated. The showerhead has good pressure, the sink was a great size and lots of closet room. In the common area, many electrical outlets and charging spots have been installed in the floor, as well as in the individual rooms. The property is protected by a metal gate and we were given a complete access with a tap device for the keypad. The house is on a bus route, walking distance to laundry, many cafes and an artist workshop. The traffic noise was a nuisance, but I just put my earbuds in.
